Foscoe Grandfather Community Center

Foscoe Community Center is a multi-use facility located in Banner Elk, NC with a beautiful backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, including Grandfather Mountain. We have a community center, nearly 7 acres of land on the Watauga River, a band shelter, and plenty of green space to enjoy.

Established in 1990 by John Weathers, his purpose was clear – he wanted a place for the children to play and learn. With the help of the community, that purpose came to life and has flourished ever since.

With 10,000 square feet of adaptable space in the community building, we can accommodate a variety of groups and gatherings for an array of occasions. When you hold your event here, it'll be a success for sure.

We're located in the heart of the High Country, between Boone and Banner Elk, just a short drive from all the favorite attractions. No matter the time of year, the natural beauty that abounds is sure to impress your guests.
